Hybrido de Timor is a naturally occurring Arabica and Robusta hybrid varietal inherently resilient to pests and climatic changes. It now serves as the genetic foundation for many resistant cultivars and may play an integral role in helping the global coffee comunity to adapt and shape the future.
We source the beans for our light-roast from the Hatuhei cooperative, situated in the south-eastern part of Letefoho, one of the region’s most remote and difficult to access areas. The beans are sustainably harvested by hand in wild coffee forests, and then bought and processed by our partners at fair prices honouring the every step of its supply chain.
