The Women in Coffee project, led by agronomist Marion Ng'ang'a, helps empower 400 women coffee producers to work their own fields in Kericho County, in the Rift Valley, surrounded by the Nandi Hills and the Mau forest, the largest indigenous forest area in East Africa. The project is part of the Kabngetuny Cooperative, a producer-owned company established in 1985 to articulate and promote the interests of coffee producers in the region. €0.25/kg of green coffee will be donated to the NGO Crossroads.
