LA ESTRELLA GEISHA

This coffee is outstanding. It develops during all temperature levels totally different Aromas. In front high fruitiness, sweetness and juicy acidity. We found floral notes, lemongrass, jasmine, honeysuckle aroma, peach, prune, cranberry notes, citrus acidity and a juicy body.

Owned for 80 years by the family López, passed on to 4 brothers in 2005 who separated the farm in two. Main varietal was Castillo. Today also Geisha and Java. They also plant avocado and plantain. Avocado is planted separately; plantain is mixed with the coffee trees.

Age of trees is around 24-36 months. Average temperature is 23°C (high 26°C, low 15°C) monthly average.
